Christy Brown's passion for performing began early, immersing herself in theater, dance, fiddling competitions, and performance groups. She earned a B.S. in Music Education from Fredonia State University and has served as the Warwick Valley Middle School String Director since 2003.

In addition to her teaching career, Christy is a touring musician with her band, Emish, with whom she has recorded six albums and performed both nationally and internationally. Her love for musical theater and directing has led her to produce and direct numerous productions, including six years as Producer of WVMS Drama, five years directing the Park Avenue Drama Club, and founding the acclaimed fiddle group, Fiddle Frenzy. She has also coordinated the WV Odyssey of the Mind program, coaching multiple teams to world-level competitions, and directed two theater workshops at WCPA.

Christy is thrilled to be part of High School Musical Jr. and is excited to collaborate with this talented theater company, cast, and crew!
