Attendance & Policies

At Warwick Performing Arts, we are committed to fostering a positive and structured learning environment. Consistent attendance, proper class placement, and adherence to studio policies help ensure the best experience for all students. Please review the following guidelines carefully.

For any questions regarding attendance, placement, or policies, feel free to reach out. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a supportive and disciplined learning environment!

    • Regular attendance is essential for the class to progress smoothly as a group.

    • Students with minor injuries or ailments are encouraged to attend and observe in the studio.

    • Missing mandatory rehearsals may result in role adjustments or revocation.

  • To withdraw from a class during the year, please email info@warwickperformingarts.com.

  • Weather-Related Closures & Delays
    We follow the Warwick Valley Central School District calendar for weather-related closures and delays whenever possible. In cases where an independent decision is required, weather-related closures are made with safety as the top priority.

    Notification will be sent by email no less than one hour before the first class, and updates will also be posted on our social media channels.

    • Students may take a make-up class in any other class within their age group or level.

    • There are no refunds for missed classes, workshops, or performances.

    • Teachers continuously evaluate students to ensure proper class placement.

    • Students ages 2-8 are placed based on age, with adjustments made at the teacher’s discretion.

    • Advancement to a higher level is based on teacher recommendations or company auditions.

  • Students may use the lounge area for relaxation and homework but are not permitted to leave the building without permission.
