Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Ireland in Motion, a vibrant afternoon of Irish music and dance that brings tradition, innovation, and high-energy performance together on one stage. This festive matinee features Emish, a dynamic five piece Americana and Celtic-inspired band known for their rich harmonies, driving rhythms, and contemporary take on traditional roots music. Drawing on Irish musical influences, Emish delivers performances that are both soulful and exhilarating. They are joined by the internationally recognized Darrah Carr Dance, a Bessie Award-nominated company celebrated for its groundbreaking fusion of traditional Irish step dance and modern movement.

Led by choreographer Darrah Carr, the company’s athletic precision and expressive style—often described as ModERIN—has been featured at Carnegie Hall, on The Today Show, Good Morning America, and at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, among many other venues. Adding to the excitement is Fiddle Frenzy, a spirited ensemble of young Hudson Valley fiddlers who bring infectious energy to classic reels, jigs, and Celtic favorites, showcasing the joy and vitality of Irish fiddling traditions. Rounding out the program are talented student performers from the Warwick Center for the Performing Arts, highlighting the next generation of local musicians and dancers and celebrating the strength of the community’s artistic future.

Filled with driving rhythms, expressive movement, and the unmistakable spirit of Ireland, Ireland in Motion is a joyful St. Patrick’s Day celebration for audiences of all ages.
Concessions and bar service will be available throughout the event.
