Janette Rawls holds a B.F.A. in Dance from Belhaven University, with additional training from American Ballet Theatre and the American Dance Festival. She began her professional career in Kansas City with Stӧrling Dance Theater, performing in large-scale productions such as Underground and The Little Match Girl.

In Houston, Janette danced with Earthen Vessels: Sandra Organ Dance Company and appeared as a guest artist with FrenetiCore, Jhon Stronks, and Dance Houston for various commercial dance and modeling projects. In the Northeast, she toured internationally with Catapult after their feature on America’s Got Talent and also performed with Elements Dance. She is currently a performer with Warwick Dance Collective.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Janette has instructed at the collegiate level, summer intensives, conventions, and performing arts schools. She is certified in Stott® Pilates and holds an ABT® National Training Curriculum certification for Primary through Level Five.

Currently based in the New York/New Jersey area, Janette serves as the Administrative Director and Production Manager for Emotions Physical Theatre, occasionally performing as a dancer. She is also pursuing her M.F.A. at Fei Tian College Middletown.
