Pamela Sorensen
Studio Manager – Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Pre-Ballet, Ballet/Tap Combo, Musical Theatre Choreographer
Pamela began her dance training at a young age, studying the classical Russian ballet syllabus under the guidance of Yuliya Akopyan and Andrey Shakhin, both former principal dancers of the Bolshoi Ballet. Her early training also included jazz, modern, contemporary, lyrical, and tap, providing her with a well-rounded foundation in dance.
After graduating high school, Pamela was awarded an apprenticeship at one of the nation’s top dance programs, the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. While at the Conservatory, she trained in ballet under Nicholas Petrov and Nancy Schaffenburg, while also studying Luigi Jazz Technique and Dunham Technique.
Pamela later completed her Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Professional Performing Arts at Ramapo College of New Jersey. She has performed professionally with Northwest Florida Ballet, Atlantic City Ballet, and Staten Island Ballet.
Now serving as Studio Manager, Pamela brings her extensive experience and passion for dance to her students, guiding them in ballet, pointe, jazz, pre-ballet, ballet/tap combo, and musical theatre choreography.
