✨ Melusine

Melusine is an enchanting, site-specific performance that transforms the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center into a world of wonder, beauty, and transformation.

Inspired by the legend of Melusine—a mystical figure connected to nature, water, and the unseen—this original work unfolds across the space in four immersive acts. Audiences are invited to move beyond the traditional stage experience and step into a living landscape where dance, music, and environment intertwine.

Through flowing movement, vivid imagery, and moments of quiet magic, Melusine explores themes of identity, connection, and becoming. Performers guide the audience through shifting scenes, revealing a story that feels both timeless and dreamlike.

Created as a culminating performance for the Warwick Center for the Performing Arts Summer Intensives, Melusinefeatures a vibrant ensemble of dancers in a one-of-a-kind, immersive experience.

Interested in participating? Dancers ages 5 & up who would like to be part of Melusine can join by registering for our Summer Intensive July 20-24 with the performance option.
