At Warwick Performing Arts, we are committed to fostering a positive and structured learning environment. Consistent attendance, proper class placement, and adherence to studio policies help ensure the best experience for all students. Please review the following guidelines carefully.

Registration & Tuition

  • You can register online through our website by going to ‘Parent Portal’ in the top navigation and click on ‘Register’. A non-refundable registration fee of $35 per student or $50 per family is required at the time of registration.

  • Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and is automatically charged to the card on file unless an alternate payment method is arranged beforehand.

  • No, all tuition payments are non-refundable, and we do not issue refunds for missed classes, workshops, or performances. However, students may take a make-up class within their age category or level.

  • Yes! We offer:

    • 10% off sibling tuition

    • 10% off annual tuition when paid in full by September

  • A $15 late fee will be applied every two weeks for overdue tuition.

  • Yes, If a class is full, please be sure to add yourself to the waitlist. If there is enough interest, we will do our best to open an additional section.

Attendance & Class Policies

  • Failure to attend mandatory rehearsals may result in their role being revoked or adjusted.

  • Students with minor injuries or ailments are expected to attend class and observe from the studio.

  • To withdraw from a class, please email info@warwickperformingarts.com.

  • Yes! Students can take a make-up class in any other class within their age category or level to compensate for a missed session.

Class Placement & Progression

  • Teachers evaluate students throughout the year to ensure appropriate placement.

    • Students ages 2-8 are initially placed by age, with teacher adjustments as needed.

    • Advancement to a higher level is based on teacher recommendations or through company auditions.

  • While additional classes can help with progress, level placement is based on teacher evaluations and readiness, not the number of classes taken.

  • Company Class is a professional-level dance class offered by the Warwick Dance Collective (WDC) for company members and guest artists. Led by experienced instructors, it focuses on advanced technique, artistry, and performance quality.

    Can I take it?
    Company Class is open to all dancers that meet the class criteria. Advanced students may be invited to join with director approval. Dancers enrolled in Company Class are also included in WDC’s year-end company production. If you're interested, please contact us to learn more about eligibility.

Performances & Additional Fees

  • No, workshops, competition rehearsals, and related fees are billed separately.

  • While participation in the end-of-year performance is encouraged, it is not mandatory. However, students who choose to participate must attend all required rehearsals. The acro classes will not be included in the year end production. Instead, they will have a small showcase presentation at the end of the year.

  • Yes, performance fees are separate from tuition and will be due in the spring. These fees cover expenses such as costumes, venue rental, and production costs. More details, including specific costs and due dates, will be provided closer to the event.

  • If your child opts out of the performance, please notify us as soon as possible so we can adjust accordingly. They may still continue attending classes as usual.

Studio Policies & Safety

  • No, students are not permitted to leave the building without permission. They may use the lounge area for relaxation and homework.
